Three standout students from the British International School of Boston have been selected to attend the 2025 Nord Anglia Student Summit in Houston, Texas. This inspiring event brings together over 160 students from across the globe to collaborate on creative solutions for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, develop leadership skills, and make a lasting social impact.

BISB IBDP students achieved outstanding results for the 2023-24 academic year!

Last week, Ariana, Luka, and Pryia, Year 12 (Grade 11) students at the British International School of Boston (BISB), joined over 120 Nord Anglia students from around the world at the annual NAE-UNICEF Student Summit. This year’s summit focused on innovation, with students discussing their efforts to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and create positive change in their local communities. Specializing in musical theater, dance, and more, students collaborated to create a stunning showcase. Beyond performances, they enjoyed workshops, Broadway shows, and made friendships across continents, enriching their experience.

Known for inventing boots for astronauts to walk on Mars, Professor Leia Stirling at MIT’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics wants students to explore the world of wearable technology in the Epic Identity challenge and discover how gadgets are used to measure and enhance or help human performance.

All Nord Anglia students are empowered to make a difference and to positively impact the world. Through our collaboration with UNICEF, students participate in meaningful activities to effect change in their schools and communities at large. To focus these efforts on specific goals, UNICEF annually challenges Nord Anglia students to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, which are a collection 17 goals set by the United Nations regarding social and economic development issues.
