BIS Houston has distinguished track record of high academic achievement and college placement through our IB results equipping our students with a global education passport to study anywhere in the world. This year is no exception, with two BIS Houston students', Kyran and Idenya, attaining the maximum 45 points, putting them impressively in the top 1% of all IBDP students globally!

We are extremely excited to announce the outstanding and impressive results of our 2021 International Baccalaureate (IBDP & IBCP) graduating class at BIS Houston. Our Class of 2021 impressively achieved one of our school’s strongest results with an IBDP average score of 37 points, 4 points higher than this year’s IBDP global average of 33.

We are privileged to host Steven C. Smith, NASA STEM EPDC Education Specialist, who will conduct a virtual presentation for our students on Thursday, June 11th at 2:35 pm about current and upcoming missions. He will also talk about their crew members and the many other career specialties it takes to make them successful.

These are challenging times! In the midst of adversity Year 12 student Idenya is taking action to make a big difference to Save One Life, one life at a time. Learn more about his journey and what makes Idenya an inspiring global citizen.

A day for children, by children — is almost here, and our students are all taking part! World Children's Day 2019 marks 30 years since the establishment of children's rights.  Donate $1+ to UNICEF and wear blue all day and follow our social media channels to find out how our students will raise awareness of children's rights #NAEKidsTakeOver!

We are delighted to announce, Humanities Teacher, Mrs Bennett, has become a UN-certified climate change teacher.

Year 13 students Serena and Akshaya have been selected by members of the IB team to participate in the Hancock Symposium at Westminster College.  Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is the keynote speaker.

This summer, Year 13 student, Maryam, had an opportunity to participate in cancer research under the tutelage of renowned scientist, Dr Natasha Kirienko and her team of graduate and undergraduate students at Rice University’s Biosciences school.

BISH will host Misty Tolle, Music Curriculum Specialist from The Juilliard School, Wednesday 6th - Friday 8th March and will be running a Juilliard Parent Workshop on Thursday 7th March at 8.30am.
