U19a Boys Volleyball vs AIS - Match Report 03/10/17

Dan Champion  reflects on the U19a Boys Volleyball team's performance in their recent match against AIS...

We arrived in AIS’s enormous gym, expecting a good match, and we had a great time. The A team boys, in the first few points, did not play well. However after a timeout, and a small pep talk by Mr. Husband, we continued playing and gained momentum, thanks to our setter Atharva’s excellent serves. We won the first set 25 - 19

And in the second set we played exceptionally, following the basics of dig, set and spike, while adding a few tricks as well. Due to getting the basic correct, we were able to attack a lot more and produced many powerful hit and spikes. Most importantly we enjoyed ourselves. With the team effort we won the second set 25-14.
