The famous German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche said, 'All I need is a sheet of paper and something to write with, and then I can turn the world upside down'. Following an extensive Year 5 and Year 6 English unit of writing based upon researching famous orators and what language makes great speeches, on Thursday evening, the finalists took to the stage.

Following an extensive Year 5 and Year 6 English unit of writing based upon researching famous orators and what language makes great speeches, on Thursday evening, the finalists took to the stage.
Armed with paper notes and a passion for their well researched topic, these children really did turn the APS Theatre upside down with their hard hitting topics, thought provoking quotes and rhetorical questions. Firstly, a huge 'thanks' to all of our children in Year 5 and Year 6 for working so hard within this topic area. A massive 'well done' to all of the finalists who took part and finally, an extraordinary large 'congratulations' to our 2 winners:
