Come along to English speaking Club at Tu Xuong Campus. It is a friendly, welcoming group for our TX parents. We aim to improve conversational English by focusing on spoken English skills.

From 20th-22nd May, this huge annual sporting event witnessed 6 British international schools across Asia competing in 4 tournaments over three days.

Community partner visits Our community tour started last Friday April 1st with a morning walk, not just a walk but a dog walk as we were kindly invited by Regine, the dog trainer and Koto, one of ARC leaders, to join them on their daily tour.

The F2 children visited KizCiti in District 4 on Tuesday. An amazing time was had by all as we explored the different areas in the venue.

What a fantastic few days our U13 FOBISIA Games team had in Hong Kong. So much so, Mr Mincher is considering an extension to the trophy cabinet!

This was the first time that BIS HCMC had taken part in the Secondary FOBISIA Mathematics Competition and the students made us proud! They all had a great time competing against students from 23 other schools.

The ever-popular FOBISIA short story competition is this year being hosted by BIS HCMC. The theme is ‘Flight’, and students are encouraged to interpret this as creatively as possible.

The children from Year 6 have recently started their new IPC unit, ‘Fairgrounds’. This unit is very much focussed on Design Technology (DT) and as part of the process they are expected to design, create and then evaluate their finished fairground ride.

The highly successful Anne Frank Exhibition in November was the culmination of the hard work and collaboration demonstrated by a number of organisations, staff, and students from around the world.

This week saw the children and teachers in Year 5 coming to school dressed as someone from numerous different civilisations that have developed throughout history.

Teacher’s day 2015 is on 20th November and that as last Friday! A big round of applause on behalf of AP1 and Thank you teachers; this school wouldn’t be as marvellous as this if it wasn’t for you! Once again, A Very Big thank you for which making a huge good difference for this school. Also, 23rd November is Guards and cleaner’s day.
