We are incredibly proud of the IB Diploma Programme results awarded to our Year 13 students this year. Once again the knowledge, skills, and aptitudes of our students have been recognised with academic results that place them among the very best globally.

At BIS we hold Health and Safety as a key priority for our whole community. For this reason, I would like to remind you of a few procedures and expectations here on the Junior Campus.

Dear Parents , It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Secondary Campus for the Academic year 2020-21 and to share with you our first update of the year. This week has been a week of welcome, of celebration, and of looking forward to how we will shape the year ahead together- but most importantly it has been a week of appreciation, appreciation of being back together and able to connect with friends and colleagues in our wonderful school. It was a joy to witness the enthusiasm, energy and laughter that filled the Campus on Wednesday on our students’ first day back at school.

Dear Parents, The tempo of life on campus has remained high this week with an exciting array of lessons and activities. Of particular note is the IB Group 4 project for Year 12 students which I share more about below.

Throughout Term 3, as part of our Expeditions Xtra offer, students from our 66 schools have been engaged in a competition to research the chosen destinations of Tanzania and Switzerland and build villages from these countries using the Minecraft platform.

As so many opportunities across the world for our young musicians to perform publicly have disappeared this year, Nord Anglia Education instead decided to launch a ‘Virtual Young Musician of the Year’ competition for all of their schools via the Global Campus site.

Dear Parents, There are some very important routines taking place at the moment to ensure that we are fully prepared to leap forward into the next academic year with energy and enthusiasm.

With the exception of Fundinotots, all the children have now returned to school. With only a few weeks remaining of the term however, our focus is on preparing the children for moving up a year.
