On the 5th December, Year 4 enjoyed a lovely day out at Praia do Tombo. We created rivers in the sand, from their narrow source to wide mouth as they enter the sea. The children showed excellent knowledge of river systems and added tributaries, deltas, oxbow lakes and even made their rivers meander. It was a wonderful day out made even more special by amazing children, brilliant adults and fantastic weather!
