Secondary Swimming Gala

On Friday 1st of December, all students from our secondary school took part in an inter-house swimming competition (Swimming Gala). This event is the first of four large inter-house competitions that the PE department organises during the academic year. This was an exciting event for students, but also an event that allowed for participation between parents and staff. Students took part in events such as: 50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke and freestyle and also a 4x50m relay. The Vikings house came first, 10 points ahead of second place Romans, followed by Normans in third and the Saxons in fourth place. The next set of events will be the traditional BCB Sailing Regattas happening in February and May 2018.
