Our entire school community is excited to share the exceptional first IB results achieved by BCB students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). 2021 marks the year of BCB’s first graduating students. This is a landmark moment for any school and it is also a significant moment for BCB.

We would like to thank you for your engagement on our first day of Food Drive. Yesterday we had the campaign debut and it was a success! We are really happy to see our kids donating food and helping the ones who need it.

We are happy to share with our community the "Thank you letter" received from  Amigos do Bem, after receiving the donation of more them 300 Kg of food that will be donated to 75.000 people as a result of the campaign led by our Year 12 students and PSHE classes activities and our community donations during BCB's food drive's campaign held in the past few weeks.

What an amazing week we had! Artistic interventions during breaks and lunchtime, giving opportunity for everyone to enjoy and appreciate different musical genres, ensemble and dance performances and visual arts works. We were able to see children interacting with these video and audio interventions by copying dance moves, singing along, and showing themselves completely amazed with people drawing and painting.

The BCB Arts Department organised a very special week for everyone, the BCB Expressive Arts Week, which begins next Monday the 31st of May.

Our Key Stage 3 students did a great job in reflecting and creating solutions to local and global problems using an inquiry based approach.

Three of our secondary students won this year’s Global Campus Creative Writing Competition. This is an outstanding achievement as their writing was judged against possible entrants from 69 schools across 29 countries.

One of BCB students' MIT project has been selected to be part of the MIT reaction video.

Despite challenging conditions, students on the IGCSE and IBDP - Geography curriculum, found their fieldtrip to the River Paraitinga a rewarding experience.

We are excited to announce the last part of our Living in Space MIT Challenge.

Teachers and children have been really happy to see each other again in our Extra Curricular mornings at BCB.

With more than 250 questions sent to Ariel Ekblaw about living in space on the first part of our MIT Challenge, we are happy to launch the second part of this challenge today. Students have a week to imagine and plan a device to be used in the International Space Station - ISS to improve human experience away from Earth in one of the following areas: Food / Sports & Exercises / Art.

The Primary Music Department has presented on October 26th the Key Stage Two Virtual BCB’s Got Talent Show.

Parents, as many of you know, one of the most popular events that we host each year for our Secondaryl students is the Nord Anglia Global Games. Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions surrounding COVID-19, we will not be able to offer the event this year.

It has been a pleasure welcoming many of our students back to school last week, 15th of October, on our first week of Extra-Curricular Activities at school since March 2020.

Last Year, our students in Year 7  studied in Portuguese classes about intertextuality and recreated posters of movie names and cartoons by mixing them with food names.
